Main monuments of Rouen
  • The Donjon or la Tour de Jeanne d'Arc, in which Joan of Arc was imprisoned
  • Gros-Horloge, built in 1389, gothic beffry and Renaissance arch.
  • Mansion of Bourgtheroulde, private mansion mixing Flamboyant gothic and Renaissance styles.
  • Law courts, the most important gothic monument of the late Middle Age. Former parliament of Normandy.
  • Saint Maclou church and cloister, acted as a mass grave during the Great Plague and today houses the School of Fine Arts.
  • Cathedrale Notre-Dame : its façade painted and made famous by Monet, illustrates the development of the Gothic style.
  • Saint Jeanne d'Arc church and its wonderful stained glass windows.

From Museum of Fine Arts to Museum of Ceramic, passing by Iron Museum and Museum of Antiquities, Musée Pierre Corneille, Musée Flaubert and Histoire de la médecine, museum Joan of Arc or museum of sea, rivers and ports, the city of Rouen proposes large art collections.
